Many people have problems when installaing PhoenixSuit in windows 8 ( x64 for me )and can not install the google usb drivers and take this error
Ok do not worry .
Press end and continue installation of PhoenixSuit .
After that press the update to go in the newer version ( 1.0.6 now )
Again in installation you reseive the error message again , dont worry .
Press end and continue installation of PhoenixSuit .
After finish the installation , go to the google site and download the Android SDK ( choose the correct version x32 or x64 for your system ).
Ok now run the android sdk in your computer after finish you can see what have installed
Now the "trick"
1. Go to folder of android sdk and find the USB driver folder. (The Google USB Driver is located in <sdk>\extras\google\usb_driver\.)
2. From this folder COPY all files EXCEPT the "source.properties"
3. Now go to the PhoenixSuit folder C:\Program Files (x86)\AllWinnertech\PhoenixSuit. [boot disk for me are C:]
Go to folder Drivers ---> C:\Program Files (x86)\AllWinnertech\PhoenixSuit\Drivers .
Now enter to folder ADB_Driver --> C:\Program Files (x86)\AllWinnertech\PhoenixSuit\Drivers\ADB_Driver
And press Paste and REPLACE the contents in the folder (Paste the contents previously copied in step 2 )
4. Go back in folder C:\Program Files (x86)\AllWinnertech\PhoenixSuit .
5. find the file "PhoenixDrvInstall.exe"
6. Now run ( as administrator ) the "PhoenixDrvInstall.exe"
AND VOILA
*** REMEMBER TO DISABLE ANTIVIRUS ANTIMALWARE FIREWALLS etc BEFORE START THIS PROCEDURE ***
